Thought...... The Internet World changes almost minute by minute. How does one keep up? I've been on the internet for over three years and have found some inexpensive ways to keep my website at the top of the search engines WITHOUT DOING GOOGLE ADDWORDS or PAY PER CLICK. Here are some ideas you might find helpful in getting your site out there: Message Boards: Participate in message boards an leave your signature with your URL on every post. (website name) Blogs: Get your name and website out there by starting a BLOG and advertising to it in other sites. You can start your own BLOG at www.BLOGS.com. Personal Website: Create a place where people can get to know you personally. There are many "splash page" type sites out there where you have to give them your information before you even know what it is they are offering. Give them a place where they can get to know you and get to know what you have to offer BEFORE they commit with their information. You will get much more qualified leads that way. Writing Articles: Brand yourself and get your name out there by writing articles. The search engines look for as many links as possible. This is a great linking opportunity as others will grab YOUR articles and put them on THEIR sites. Therefore, a link to your site is generated. To submit articles do a search on ARTICLE SUBMISSION. Purchase Ads: This is a great way to get traffic to your site. Find sites that is populated by your target audience. Then, look for areas on the site where your ad will stand out. One of my favorites is in a newsletter. That way your ad comes right to them. Create a MySpace, FaceBook, Shoutlife account: These are a great opportunity for relationships to be built and trust to be formed. When you buy into something do you do it because you've gotten the facts and the facts sold you? Most often we buy into products or businesses because someone has passionately convinced us to do so. But how does that conversation happen? It happens by allowing a relationship to take place, however brief. MySpace and other sites like it bring you the kind of marketing income that takes has long term effects. Someone who builds a relationship with you on-line knows 100's of other people. So if you do a good job of marketing yourself and sharing who you are, your business can't help but grow. Have fun! Recommended
